Leshy

The Leshy (or alternately Lesovoi, Lesnik, Lesov and many others) is a Slavic spirit of the forest. He rules his domain, standing as a giant among the trees. A green man with beard and hair covered in leaves, pinecones, moss and other forest bits.

While in his forest the leshy is very powerful and imposing, the further towards it's edge that he goes the smaller he becomes. If a leshy is (rarely) encountered outside of his forest, he is no taller than a blade of grass.
