Vodnik - The Hill Cantons Omnibus

Illustration of a Vodnik, a water spirit from Slavic folklore. Often found in ponds, lakes and rivers. Like most Slavic spirits it tends to be belligerent and tries to drown people that get too close to its waters.

The piece is a mixed media of ink and watercolor overlaid over a scan and digitally colored version of the same illustration.
